Linings delivered...

Looks like they are making a start on some of the cabinetry soon too! I can also see the architraves and skirting has been delivered as well

Installation of the insulation

The insulation had begun this week and it looks like the carpenters came back to finish off the gables. All the rough in has been completed and now we wait...for the linings

This is where the TV will go above the fire place. I'm still trying to convince Geoff of letting me put up a timber mantle...I have to have the grand kiddies Christmas stockings hanging up somewhere for Santa to fill!

Rough in started

The electrical rough in has started this week and we also noticed that the ducting for the aircon has been installed too. I also noticed that we were getting a bulkhead in the theatre room which we had forgot about woohoo

Bulk head in the theatre room. This is the back wall where we will put the platform. We are disappointed that we didn't pick up on the size of the windows when we signed off on them. We would've had smaller ones or just a highlight window if we knew! Not to worry, these things happen I guess and it's a simple solution really. The blinds and curtains will most likely never be opened and if they are, no one really goes around that side of the house anyways and if they do, they just see a black step...no biggy :) All the wiring will go into the guest bedroom's wardrobe so we don't have to have a cabinet at the front to house all the audio visual equipment. That's another one of my brainstorms hehe

Now we're in
